On Monday June 2nd Applecross Country Club hosted the East Brandywine Fire & Police Services Golf Outing.
According to golfers the outing could not have been more successful. The weather was remarkable and the course was in outstanding condition.
Following a continental breakfast Fire Chief Joe Edwards and Police Chief Mark Kocsi offered a few short remarks and the outing got underway.
Throughout the day golfers had the opportunity to win prizes such as a 2-year lease on 2013 Infinity JX35 as well as other prizes for things like the longest drive.
Following their round golfers ended their afternoon with a luncheon back at the clubhouse that included a silent auction.
The Officers and Members of East Brandywine Fire Company would like to thank the sponsors. Without their generosity and financial support this day would not have been a reality
Additionally special thanks to Applecross Country Club and Linda Bowers for organizing and hosting a first class event.
And lastly to the 100 golfers who came out and supported the event, we thank you!
