| On Wednesday evening April 10th, the EMS Division coordinated an EMS training evening. EMS Director Cathie Rawlings and QRS Captain Collin Miller coordinated the session.
This training session was conducted in conjunction with 46 Ambulance and Medic 93. Additionally, Assistant Chief/EMT Joe Edwards, and CRNA/EMT Leslie Edwards assisted with facilitating stations.
Participants rotated through 5 different stations, which included:
ALS assistance (IV's and Heart Monitoring)
CPAP Application
CPR involving the LUCAS device
Hemodynamic Monitoring
Review of Stryker Stretcher and an Ambulance Overview
By all accounts the training session was an overwhelming success!
