By East Brandywine Fire Company
February 23, 2017

On Wednesday evening February 22nd, twenty-six East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in our weekly training session. The focus of this weeks training was vehicle rescue.

Lt. PJ Groff facilitated the evening which will kick off our vehicle rescue series that will run over several weeks. According to Groff, the goal was to perform an extrication with very little instruction in order to establish a baseline. This allows the Line Officers to identify any gaps in our knowledge base or understanding. Following the vehicle rescue series this will be drill will be conducted again in order to measure improvement.

Assistant Chief Vince D'Amico stated "our team holds themselves very accountable and continually want to improve". D'Amico also added "the energy surrounding this years training program has been outstanding".

The Line Officers would like to thank all of the volunteers who continue to train tirelessly to provide high quality emergency service.
