This past Wednesday March 27th, members of East Brandywine gathered for a night of training at the Chester County Public Safety Training Center. The focus this evening was the basics of advancing hose lines.

Crews broke up into three groups, with one group being newer members that have none to minimal experience with hoselines, and rotated back and forth practicing advancing different lengths of hose from different sides of engine 49-2 into a building. Crews drilled on the proper set up of the hoseline outside the structure, different methods of moving the hose inside, up stairs and around corners, and focused heavily on communicating with each other.
