On Friday July 4th East Brandywine Fire Company Volunteers and Engine 49-5 transferred to East Brunswick Independent Fire Company for an emergent standby.

East Brunswick is a suburb of New York City with a population of about 50,000 people. The town experienced a 30 inch water main break leaving them with dangerously low water pressures. Therefore an urgent request was made for Tankers from around the Tri-state area.

The Line Officers would like to thank Chief Engineer Robert Zynn, Past Deputy Chief Bill Rees, Lt. Greg Pilotti, and FF Deb Feairheller for giving up their July 4th Holiday, to assist another Community.
