On Monday night East Brandywine Fire Company volunteer EMT's conducted training on allergic reactions and EpiPen indications and administration techniques.

The EMS Division decided to add life saving EpiPens to the QRS Unit to enhance the service provided to the community. EpiPens are used to treat life threatening allergic reactions known as Anaphylaxis. Deputy Director of EMS Miller hosted the training which consisted of a lecture and hands on skills training.

Special thanks to Dr. Craig Herring East Brandywine's Medical Director for overseeing the training.
