On Friday morning shortly after 10 am, Station 49 along with EMS from MICU 144 were dispatched to the area of Manor Rd & Hibernia for an auto accident with injuries.

Deputy, Chief, Rescue & Utility 49 all made the response. Deputy 49 arrived first and reported a two-vehicle accident with one subject still trapped in their vehicle. Rescue 49's crew arrived on location and stabilized the vehicle and utilized our Holmatro extrication tools to pop the drivers' side door to allow access to the patient for EMS.

Once the patient was in the care of EMS crews began the process of cleaning up the roadway and awaited the vehicles to be towed. Once all the vehicles were removed and the roadway was clear of debris the assignment was cleared.
