At 12:29 a.m. on January 14th, fire companies were dispatched to the area of Triple Fresh Market in East Fallowfield for a house fire. As local fire companies began to respond the location was updated to the 700blk of Baron Crest Way which is behind Triple Fresh.
Deputy 44 arrived on location first and reported a 2 1/2 story single family dwelling with heavy fire showing from the A/D corner division 1 and had possible entrapment. At that time Deputy 44 also requested the working fire dispatch and 1st alarm tanker task force. This added East Brandywine to the call along with multiple other companies.
As companies began to arrive all occupants were able to exit the residence on their own and were not injured.
Firefighters from Coatesville, Modena & Keystone Valley quickly arrived on scene and stretched three handlines into the residence and began to make a push on the fire. Ladder 49 and Engine 49-5 made the response as well and upon arrival crews assisted with overhaul operations as well as setting up lighting to the side and rear of the residence. EBFC members were on scene for approx. 1 hour before clearing.
Responding to the incident were Modena, Westwood, Keystone Valley, Coatesville, Cochranville, East Brandywine and Sadsburyville Fire Companies. Tankers from Wagontown, Po-Mar-Lin & West Bradford were also on location. |
