On Friday evening EBFC was dispatched with other mutual aid to assist the Glen Moore Fire Company on a reported house fire on Highspire Rd.

FM30 and Deputy 49 were the first two to arrive and had heavy fire throughout the home with fire through the roof.

Engine 49-5 was the first fire apparatus on scene and stretched a 2 1/2 and 1 3/4 handlines to the residence and began making a knock on the fire. All residents were out of the home on arrival.

Due to the structural integrity of the house the majority of the operation was exterior only.

Engine 49-2, Ladder 49 and Rescue 49 also made the response from EBFC. Crews were on scene for approx. 2 hours before clearing.
