EBFC along with EMS were dispatched this afternoon at 4:17pm for an auto accident on Manor Rd (Route 82) just north of Hibernia.
While enroute crews were advised of one subject trapped and the assignment was upgraded to an Auto Accident w/ Entrapment. Chief 49 arrived and assumed command of the incident. Rescue 49 with 6 arrived shortly behind the Chief and the crew placed the tools in service to remove the passenger side door of the pickup truck. Ladder 49 arrived and assisted the Rescue crew with extrication.
Extrication was completed in approximately 7 minutes and the patient was turned over to EMS
Utility 49 and QRS 49 also made the response and assisted with traffic control. The roadway was closed until 5:30pm
