At 8:23pm East Brandywine along with several other departments were dispatched to the second working fire of the day this time in East Caln Township. Crews were dispatched to the 1300 block of Campbell Drive for the report of smoke coming from the house.

Downingtown PD arrived and reported a well involved attic fire. Downingtown Fire units arrived next and placed Tower 45 to the roof while Engine 46's crew stretched a handline to the attic area.

Ladder 49 and Engine 49-5 made the response and upon arrival crews began to place ground ladders around all sides of the building while others went to the roof and began to open up for the interior crews. Crews assisted on scene for under an hour before being released.
