Earlier this evening, Ladder 49, Rescue 49 and QRS 49 made the response with 19 volunteers to assist the Modena Fire Company on a reported house fire in East Fallowfield.
Crews investigated a smoke condition inside the residence and it was determined to be a bad sump pump in the basement. Crews from 49 placed the aerial to the roof, placed ground ladders and put a fan in service before clearing the scene. Before clearing crews assisted with getting the supply line repacked on Engine 37 and getting all the equipment back in service on the Ladder.
