On Monday morning at 9:12am EBFC volunteers along with EMS from Westwood were dispatched to Horseshoe Pike just west of Route 82 for an auto accident.

Rescue 49, QRS and Utility 49 all made the response and on arrival found a two vehicle accident with fluids on the roadway. EMS from QRS49 and Westwood checked on one patient while crews from Rescue 49 worked to place oil dry down on the fluids in the roadway. Utility 49 assisted with traffic control.

Crews were on scene for under 30 minutes and cleared once the vehicles were removed.
