At approximately 7:45 AM on Wednesday, the West Bradford Fire Company, along with additional mutual aid companies, was dispatched to the 200 block of Lucky Hill Road for a reported chimney fire.
Shortly after the initial dispatch, the situation escalated when reports came in that the fire had spread to the roof. Upon arrival, crews found a working fire with flames visible from the roof, prompting the request for a working fire dispatch and a tanker task force to assist with water supply.
East Brandywine Fire Company’s Engine 49-5 responded as part of the tanker task force. Crews from Engine 49-5 provided critical support to the tanker shuttle operations on the scene, helping ensure a steady water supply for firefighting efforts.
By 10:23 AM, Engine 49-5 was released from the scene after assisting in the successful containment of the fire.
