On Friday evening, February 7th, just before 6 PM, East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched alongside Minquas Fire Company EMS for a reported auto accident with injuries and possible confinement at 1212 Horseshoe Pike.
While traveling through the area, Chief 49 came upon the accident and immediately reported it. Rescue 49 and Utility 49-1 responded to the scene. Fortunately, the driver initially reported as confined was able to exit the vehicle before rescue crews arrived.
Once on scene, crews stabilized the vehicle, secured hazards, and cleared debris to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Utility 49-1 took position at Route 322 & Bollinger Rd to close eastbound traffic while operations were underway.
Fire crews remained on scene until Fling’s Towing removed the vehicles and the roadway was reopened. |
