On Sunday afternoon, Chief 49, QRS, and Rescue 49 responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Reeceville Road near Monacy. EMS units from Westwood and Minquas also responded to the scene.

Reports indicated a pickup truck and a motorcycle struck and the rider was down in the roadway.

Westwood EMS and Chief 49 arrived first and confirmed the report.

Crews from Rescue 49 & QRS 49 assisted with securing the roadway and supported EMS with patient care efforts. Once the debris was cleared and the motorcycle was removed by Flings Towing, crews were able to reopen the roadway and return available.
