| For our weekly drill our members traveled to the burn building in South Coatesville at the Chester County Public Safety Training Center for some live burn drills. Crews focused on hoseline management, teamwork, and communication while running through multiple scenarios in a controlled environment.
This training also gives our apparatus drivers the opportunity to practice pump operations and aerial placement from different locations and under varying conditions.
Continuous training like this helps ensure our volunteers are prepared to operate safely and effectively when called upon by our community.
We’d also like to thank the staff at the training center who assisted us with stoking the fires throughout the evening. |
